Millions of men and women have served in the armed forces before us and millions more will serve after. We represent others in the communities such as, sadden families, funeral directors, and our own team members. When performing a detail, we aren’t just representing ourselves, but the thousands and millions of the other brothers and sisters that have served or are serving in the military forces.

All eligible veterans are entitled to military funeral honors signifying America’s gratitude for their honorable service.

It is important that ceremonial guardsmen, strive to stay true to the ethics put forth for us. Respect, integrity, inspiration, professionalism and tradition are key to being an effective member of the honor guard.
